In order to fully leverage the advantages of resources from universities and courts, enhance the joint training of legal professionals, and further integrate talent training with practical needs, on the afternoon of October 11th, Wang Peng, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of the Law School, led a group of over 30 teachers and students to visit and exchange ideas with the Jingkou District People's Court. Sun Wen, a member of the Party Group of the Jingkou Court and Director of the Political Department, received Wang Peng and his entourage.
Wang Peng and his group visited the Jingkou District People's Court and had on-site exchanges with Sun Wen and others. During the meeting, Sun Wen comprehensively introduced the development situation of the court and the demand for legal talents. Shu Fangcheng, the Deputy Chief Judge of the Jianbi Court, Zhao Shu, an assistant judge in the Criminal Court, and Jiang Huanxing, an assistant judge in the Comprehensive Office, shared their experiences regarding career choices, professional development, future planning, and theoretical studies. Wang Peng expressed gratitude to the Jingkou District Court and Jiangsu University Law School for jointly conducting the "Court Open Day" special event, and introduced the main measures of the Law School in terms of career development and talent training. Subsequently, both parties had in-depth discussions on issues such as employment and entrepreneurship for college students, talent training, and industry-university-research cooperation.
The implementation of this "Court Open Day" special event further deepened the cooperation between the university and the local court, broadened the thinking of talent training in the college, and promoted the more comprehensive and higher quality employment of our graduates.
