On October 15, the National Philosophy and Social Science Work Office announced the results of the 2024 National Social Science Foundation annual projects. The "Research on Regional Cooperative Legislative Mechanism of Mega-City Agglomeration" (Project No. 24BFX035) chaired by Prof. Jiang Xuesong and "Research on New Grassroots Judicial Mechanism Based on the Archives of Zhenjiang in the Republic of China (1912-1949)" (Project No. 24BFX164) chaired by Prof. Tang Huapeng were approved as general projects in the discipline of law; and Zheng Zheng was approved as general project in the discipline of law. "(Project No. 24BFX164) was approved as a general project of the discipline of Law; "Research on the Types of New Corruption and Regulatory Models in the Field of Data Assets" (Project Project No. 24CDJ067), hosted by Dr. Zheng Shujun, was approved as a youth project of the discipline of Party History and Party Building.

In recent years, the college attaches great importance to the declaration of national projects, and actively carries out the organization of the declaration of national projects.During the period of 2020-2023, the teachers of the college presided over and undertook a total of three general projects of the National Social Science Foundation, two youth projects and four late projects. These projects have strongly promoted the development of the college's scientific research work and enhanced the level of the college's discipline construction.

The three new projects approved in 2024 are a recognition of the hard work and scientific research strength of the faculty, and will certainly play a powerful role in promoting the construction of disciplines and specialties of the College. The School of Law will continue to intensify its efforts to cultivate scientific research talents, take various initiatives to provide teachers with more effective scientific research support, and promote the high-quality development of the School to a new level!
